Navarik Invoice Calculation Rule

Navarik Inspection System calculates invoices following the rules outlined below:

Each value is rounded at every calculation point and then a total is displayed (each line item is rounded and then added together)

Example:

Here is a singular invoice line item in Navarik Inspection:

$99 is divided by 50% which equals $49.5
$49.5 then receives a 2% discount which equals $0.99
$49.5 subtract $0.99 equals $48.51
$48.51 is then taken and a 5% tax is calculated which equals $2.4255 (Navarik rounds this number and displays $2.43)
$48.51 net tax plus $2.43 equals $50.94

Another site will take $48.51 and also calculates a tax of $2.43, and the two systems both come to the concluded total of $50.94.

Here is where it starts a different path. Below we have copied the first line item and recalculated:

First line item:
$99 is divided by 50% which equals $49.5
$49.5 then receives a 2% discount which equals $0.99
$49.5 subtract $0.99 equals $48.51
$48.51 is then taken and a 5% tax is calculated which equals $2.4255 (Navarik rounds this number and displays $2.43)
$48.51 net tax plus $2.43 equals $50.94

Second line item:
$99 is divided by 50% which equals $49.5
$49.5 then receives a 2% discount which equals $0.99
$49.5 subtract $0.99 equals $48.51
$48.51 is then taken and a 5% tax is calculated which equals $2.4255 (Navarik rounds this number and displays $2.43)
$48.51 net tax plus $2.43 equals $50.94

Adding the total before tax ($48.51 + $48.51) equals $97.02 which is displayed in the net taxable field
Adding the tax ($2.43 + $2.43) equals $4.86
Adding a net tax of $97.02 and the tax amount of $2.43 equals a grand total of $101.88
Adding the total displayed on each line item ($50.94 and $50.94) also equals $101.88

On a different website, if we type in $97.02 in the net tax amount field, the tax could be calculated to be $4.85 which is $0.01 cent different than what is shown in Navarik Inspection ($4.86)

Considering the possibility of the above, Navarik has accounted for differences in rounding and allows the inspection company to modify the total by $0.01 cent per line item for the total and $0.01 cent per line item for the tax.
